2008! Thats practically vintage these days. Found this while going through my old hard drive - it was done while I was living in London and I had to colour it on the worlds oldest Toshiba laptop with a crappy touchpad and draw the drawing on some wrapping paper because I couldn’t afford to buy any proper paper. Talk about illustrating by the seat of your pants.

Actually sent this to the darling Ms Neon Hitch herself - who was stoked! It really makes a difference when people you are a fan of appreciate your stuff. Its been really thrilling watching Neon break into the states.

Also very interesting to see how far I’ve come in four years….. this is nice but all I see are flaws or things I could have done better! Typical fucking creative….

Seriously excellent novel whether you’re older than you look or you’re young at heart. I’m still trying to write a review where I can fit all of my thoughts into a nice tidy paragraph… might have to sleep on it, haha.

Commissioned portrait honouring Noodle, the best rat an owner could wish for. 

Noodle was an adventurous and brave rat. Very clever and a beloved pet I am told, and his owners were devastated when they came home to find he had been coiled by a snake. His owners rushed him from the grip of the snake but it was too late. Noodle however had fought to the end and dealt the snake a few tough blows, before losing the fight. Noodles owners inform me this will hang over his descendants reminding them of their heritage.
